Founded in 2001, the GALAXIE Club is an association that brings together over 120 leaders from companies, institutions, research, and training organizations across the Occitania region. Its mission is to unite stakeholders in the space sector and accelerate its development by fostering a dynamic and innovative ecosystem.
For 25 years, the Club has been promoting the growth and visibility of the regional space sector, creating strong synergies between industry, research, and entrepreneurship. It represents the richness and diversity of the space ecosystem, ranging from major European groups to SMEs, start-ups, and service providers.
The GALAXIE Club acts as a key link between different fields of activity and covers the entire value chain, from infrastructure to applications and services derived from space systems. In doing so, it contributes to addressing major societal challenges such as the environment, security, communications, telehealth, and personal services.
Its activities are structured around three strategic priorities: fostering connections among members in a friendly and trusting environment,promoting the dynamism and visibility of the space sector,encouraging collaboration and joint initiatives.
Through its thematic commissions (Space, Entrepreneurship, Youth & Diversity, and Environment ... ) and around 33 events organized each year — including conferences, networking events, company visits, and the annual GALAXIE Awards — the Club offers its members valuable opportunities to connect, share knowledge, and engage with key stakeholders.
By facilitating exchanges and collaboration, the GALAXIE Club creates a fertile environment that supports innovation, strengthens partnerships, and contributes to the sustainable development of its members and the wider space ecosystem.
