DETA is a partnership that aims for global collaboration
The Disruptive & Emerging Technology Alliance (DETA) is a unique global initiative dedicated to forging new paths of collaboration among governments representing some of the world’s leading technology hubs.
Born in 2023, the main goal of our Alliance is to create a network of decision- and policymakers focused on anticipating the impact of disruptive technologies on our societies and adapting public policies to better serve our citizens.
At the same time, we also seek to make a positive contribution to the global debate on the governance of emerging technologies. This is particularly relevant at a time of intense efforts to establish a global framework for governing the development of AI and space technologies.
DETA today brings together 21 governments from some of the world’s main tech hubs, jointly representing 135 million citizens.
