Laurent Azoulaï is Executive Expert Communication, Navigation Surveillance at Airbus, with 29 years of experience in Engineering for Civil & Military Aircraft and Ground Vehicles. Previously, he was Senior Expert Navigation since 2017 and Satellite Navigation Expert since 2010. He held various positions in the development, research and support of multi-systems avionics functions inside Airbus since 2001. Before joining Airbus, he was developing inertial software and systems for helicopters, fighters and armoured vehicles within a major French supplier between 1997 and 2001. Laurent Azoulaï graduated from Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris in 1996 in automatic systems. He co-authored more than 20 technical papers and 6 patents. He is involved in Standardization activities in ICAO Navigation Systems Panel and Frequency Spectrum Management Panel. He is ICCAIA CNS/ATM Committee Chair. He is Civil Aircraft Manufacturers Representative at the EUROCAE Technical Advisory Committee.
